Mumbai, May 5: With his film “Trishul” completing 38 years of its existence and “TE3N” ready for release, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was in awe how his past has ‘coincidentally’ collided with the present.

The star took to his official blog to talk about both of his films, saying that the circles of life come back.

He shared: “’Trishul’ completes 38 years of its release! 38 years is like an eternity, but an eternity that one looks back with great nostalgia and extreme joy … ‘Trishul’ was ‘three’ in a sense and it is quite ironic and coincidental that we have another ‘three’ a TE3N coming up again … the circles of life … they come back in time … you either need to be riding it or getting off the tread mill and awaiting its return to the same wheel.”

The 1978 film, directed by late Yash Chopra, also stars legendary actors like Sanjeev Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Rakhee, Hema Malini, Prem Chopra, Sachin Pilgaonkar amongst others.

The 73-year-old went down memory lane, and shared some of the memories related to the film.

He shared: “The narration itself by Salim-Javed in the presence of Yash ji and Gulshan Rai the producer was a moment .. I was there too .. it was a mere formality I think, for the text and the desire to make the film had already been taken.

“The story idea had been shared to me by the writers and its concurrence for its production house was to be taken by Gulshan ji …Youth and its oddities shall never return, neither will its madness .. this surely was our years of madness.”

The “Paa” star also praised the director by saying “Yash ji loved beauty and winter and food … and that came to us in abundance in all his films that he did with us at the time, except ‘Kaala Patthar’.”

It was way back in 2008 when Amitabh Bachchan last had as many as three releases to his name – Bhoothnath, Sarkar Raj and God Tussi Great Ho.

2016 is set to be a remarkable year for the 73 year old actor again, what with as many films.

While Wazir released in January, Sujoy Ghosh’s Te3n is slated for release in June and Shoojit Sircar’s Pink, releasing in September. His cameo in Ki & Ka, is also being counted as one of his big ones for 2016.

Amitabh Bachchan is already in talks with Ram Gopal Varma for Sarkar 3, which is as huge as it gets.
