Deepika Padukone is on drugs… she is a certified, celebrated drug addict. Yes she is. Yet she needs no rehab and is fit to be part of any party or social gathering, although always intoxicated 24/7.

Always on a high!

Drugged!

And her super drug is – Ranveer Singh, her hubby…

Why not?

Ever since they tied the knot last year, they have been adored by their fans the world over. And finally balancing their private and professional lives, they have been giving a very measured and regular feed to their fans of what goes on, in their lives, the parts they want to share with the world.

“You… my super drug,” Deepika wrote for Ranveer. Aww, how cute is that? Posting a cute picture on Instagram. The focus was not on Ranveer but on his Tee-Shirt which read –“Love is a super power”.

This comes only days after the couple celebrated their first marriage anniversary. .   The couple shared adorable photos from their visit to the Golden Temple and Tirumala Tirupati Temple on their anniversary. “Thank You all for your love, prayers and good wishes,” they wrote on Instagram.

This is very precious, as the media – always on the lookout for anything from the couple, have to really struggle to get something out of or about them. Both are extremely guarded and cautious about their private life and rightly so. Perhaps they, again very appropriately and rightly – do not believe in exhibitionism. Readers would remember – the couple holidaying in the Disneyland (US) before their wedding and did not want any attention, were noticed getting (especially Deepika) unnerved being photographed against their consent and without their knowledge. All they want was some private space to enjoy the break from their work. They deserve to live their lives the way they want to.

Another drop in the paparazzi ocean came earlier this year when Deepika uploaded a photo of “Sunday snuggles”, featuring her sister Anisha Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

“Cuddles and snuggles! Smashed in the middle!” she then wrote.

Deepika has come up with a website – deepikapadukone.com to give access to her fans to parts of her professional life she chooses to. This was her return birthday gift to her millions of fans. She had written, ‘something super exciting coming up soon. Can’t wait to share this with you all. Love, Deepika.’

And then on her 33rd birthday, she revealed the link to her site for her fans.

‘here’s presenting my website- www.deepikapadukone.com – Love, Deepika,’

This is seen as a smart and professional way of doing business and will cut a lot of crap and the rumour mongering that goes on in Bollywood.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone has now also become a producer and produced her next big project Chhapaak, directed by Meghana Gulzar. The film is about the acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal  with Deepika (herself) and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles. The film releases on January 10, 2020.

Forbes magazine named Deepika Padukone in the top 5 richest Indian celebrities list. She is also the only actress to have 300 crore club film (Padmaavat) and delivered back to back seven 100 crore films.  She is reported to have made Rs 112 crore in 2018 alone. The most followed Asian women on Twitter; Deepika has 40.9 million followers.

The first actress to publicly speak about the conditions of mental illness and her depression, Deepika already a mental health foundation called Live Love Laugh.

With so much on her plate, she deserves to be on the super drug she is on.
